Design Inspiration Spotlight: The Grandview Model
We recently visited with Leigh Barrington, Classic’s Design Studio Supervisor, to learn more about the inspiration behind our Grandview model home located at 1981 Clayhouse Dr. in The Village of Palermo at Flying Horse. (Spoiler alert…this model is closing soon and we’ll be opening a new Grandview model within the next two weeks!) In Leigh’s words: “You will find a mixture of sophistication, comfort and relaxation. As you walk through the Grandview model you will experience a beautiful balance of traditional elegance paired with contemporary lines and textiles. This pairing of fresh and modern design can make anyone feel at home. The Grandview’s kitchen greets its guests with clean white cabinets paired with a bold, modern backsplash. The island lighting also enhances the design with a mix of bold black iron joined with simple lines. This moody mix doesn’t stop at the kitchen, as you relax in the great room you are welcomed with a fireplace that not only offers warmth but a bold tile design that features a complex cube paired with a tile that emulates soft linear natural stone.
As you continue to walk from room to room in this home you will experience a rich blend of finishes as the home selections, finishes, and furnishings come together to create a cohesive blend of classic design and modern comfort. They say opposites attract and the Grandview home demonstrates this truth with a brilliant mix of traditional materials with clean lines; cool greys with warm woods and classic finishes with modern design.”

This Grandview model home on Clayhouse Drive in The Village of Palermo at Flying Horse will soon be home to a new family. We will begin moving model home locations on March 16, 2023, going from from one beautiful Grandview model in The Village of Palermo to our brand new Grandview located in The Village of Turin, which is our newest and final neighborhood village to open in Flying Horse. This move is a bittersweet moment for Classic and the Flying Horse community. It’s a grand opening, yes, but The Village of Turin is the final opportunity to build a new home in Flying Horse! With less than 100 available homesites, the resort-style community of Flying Horse will be sold out in no time.
