Falcon School District 49 serves Indigo Ranch and its students post some of the highest SAT and ACT scores in the region, well above the national average. Children in Indigo Ranch attend Stetson Elementary School, Skyview Middle School, and Vista Ridge High School (governed by the school district; subject to change).

Shopping and Services

Indigo Ranch offers quick access to not only I-25, but even closer is the Powers Corridor which now acts as a critical connector and hub for all of your shopping and entertainment.  You will be less than 5 minutes from the community shopping center at Powers and Stetson Hills Blvd.  This center includes grocery stores, beauty shops, fitness facilities, restaurants, mailing/shipping depot.  Also with 5-10 minutes, Wal-Mart/Home Depot Center on Woodmen & Powers as well as the new Penrose St. Francis Hospital.  Just North you’ll find The Promenade Shops at Briargate.  Just South you’ll discover First & Main Town Center with adjacent shopping areas including Pier One Imports, Best Buy, Circuit City, Kohl’s, Super Target, JoAnn’s Fabrics, Cinemark 16 Theaters with I-Max, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Lowe’s, and countless restaurants.  These are just a sample of the conveniences located less than 10 minutes from your front door.  Both Chapel Hills Mall and Citadel Mall are within 10-15 minutes driving.

Commuting to work will be less stressful and take less time because of the easy access to I-25, Hwy-24, Powers Blvd and Woodmen Rd.  This makes Peterson AFB and Schriever AFB a simple drive of 15-20 minutes.   The Air Force Academy is almost a straight shot  of about 15-20 minutes and Garden of the Gods Tech Center area along with Downtown are both about a 20-30 minute drive, with beautiful views all along the way.

The Colorado Springs Airport is approximately 15-20 minutes south and if you’re traveling to Denver, take about 15 minutes off of your previous commute by driving north on the new Powers connection to Hwy 83 and arrive at Denver in no time.  Park Meadows Mall in South Denver is approximately 55 minutes from Indigo Ranch.

Indigo Ranch is only 10 minutes from Peterson Air Force Base and less than 20 minutes from Schriever Air Force Base and the Space Command Center. Gateway Business Park, the Colorado Springs Airport, numerous industrial facilities and business centers along Fountain Boulevard, Highway 24 and Powers Boulevard also provide many job opportunities.
