About Forest Lakes
A northern El Paso County property located in the foothills west of I-25 is a rarity, and Forest Lakes is poised to become one of the premier Colorado Front Range communities. Development plans also include a system of interconnecting public and private trails and two neighborhood parks, all set within approximately 450 acres of open space to fully enjoy the spectacular nature.

The first release took place in the fall of 2015 and is comprised of 33 luxury home sites ranging from one to five acres. Pricing for the estate lots ranges from $125,000 to the $300,000’s and home site sales will be managed and marketed by Flying Horse Realty. These luxury home sites are situated on sunny, south-facing slopes covered with native vegetation, scrub oak and spectacular views of Bristlecone Lake, Pike National Forest and Rampart Range.

The second release became available in 2016 offering a total of 71 homes to be built on 80 foot wide home sites. The third release of163 homes to built on 50 foot wide home sites opened in the spring of 2016.  New homesites in the West Valley at Forest Lakes are coming soon!

Driving Directions
Forest Lakes is located on the west side of I-25 off Baptist Road.  From I-25 exit Baptist Road (Exit 158) and go west. Continue straight through round-a-bout and over bridge.  Veer right after bridge and you enter Forest Lakes.
Schools
Lewis Palmer District 38 in Monument serves Forest Lakes, and its students post SAT and ACT scores well above the national average. As one of the smaller districts in the region, District 38 students thrive with small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios. The district offers many specialized programs including a charter school.
Shopping and Services
Off Baptist Road you’ll find a King Soopers grocery store with Starbuck’s and several shops and eating establishments.  To the north Monument Marketplace is constantly growing to meet the needs of residents adding new retail stores and restaurants such as Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Office Depot, Pet Smart, Chili’s, Texas Roadhouse and It’s a Grind Coffee to name a few.  Convenience shops, professional services and even a branch of the Pikes Peak Library are nearby in Monument.  The Chapel Hills Mall and The Promenade Shops at Briargate, two of three main regional shopping centers in Colorado Springs, are approximately 10 minutes from Promontory Pointe. Castle Rock’s popular Prime Outlet Stores is about 25 minutes north.
Parks and Recreation
Forest Lakes plans include Bristlecone Lake (65 acres) and Pinon Lake (14 acres) plus a system of interconnecting public and private trails and two neighborhood parks, all set within approximately 450 acres of open space to fully enjoy the spectacular nature.  Fox Run Regional Park, to the east offers picnic pavilions, ball fields and a complete trail system. The Sante Fe Trail system from Palmer Lake to Colorado Springs runs just east of Forest Lakes on the west side of I-25 and is ideal for hiking and biking.  Monument is also host to a YMCA.
Employment
Monument’s location north of Colorado Springs and easy access to I-25 makes it an excellent choice for working in either Colorado Springs or Denver. Northern El Paso County is one of the fastest growing sectors for commercial development. Numerous high-tech companies, national and international employers are within 10 to 15 minutes of Promontory Pointe. Future development of Northgate Park, just south of Promontory Pointe, includes a new Oracle complex as well as other high tech companies. The United States Air Force Academy is located across I-25 and is easily reached from Northgate Rd.
