Classic Homes Values Your Health and Wellbeing #DoingOurPart

At Classic Homes, we care about the health and safety of our customers and team members. With that thought, we want you to know a few things as we all continue to monitor the situation surrounding COVID-19. There is a lot of information about COVID-19 in circulation, Classic Homes is closely monitoring the situation and referencing local and state public health agencies and the official Center for Disease Control (CDC) website for the most accurate up to date information about COVID-19 at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

As always, our Model Homes, Design Studio and Corporate Offices are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. In fact, in light of recent events, we have increased the frequency of cleaning. Our team members have always practiced frequent hand washing and we also have hand sanitizer available at each location. We are following the recommendation of the CDC as it pertains to handshakes. Please don’t be offended if we don’t offer to shake hands when our Customer Service Representatives visit your home or when you visit our Models and Design Studio. Handshakes will be replaced with air waves, virtual high-fives, and elbow bumps.

While we are passionate about building homes and creating community, if you know us, you know that the comfort, health and safety of our customers and team members is our number one priority. For customers who prefer to browse our homes from the comfort of their home, our online and onsite New Home Specialists are available 7-days a week to provide guidance in your new home search. We also have thousands of photos and 3D virtual tours of our homes, electronic brochures of all of our floorplans, base pricing, inventory homes under construction, and interactive maps available on Classic Homes website at www.ClassicHomes.com.

Our Corporate Office, Model Homes, and Design Studio are open and observing regular business hours. Appointments will continue to be held as scheduled. Should you wish to conduct your appointment by phone, FaceTime, Skype or online web conference service, please let us know; we will make arrangements to accommodate such requests.

For customers who have already begun the construction process, please feel free to continue visiting your home on Sundays as you wish. Remember to stop by the Model to check in with the team and pick up a hard hat. We will also continue to email weekly progress photos should you choose not to visit your home in person.

Product Shortages
While we have not experienced any product shortages or delays in the building of your new home due to COVID-19, it is possible that there could be interruptions to the material supply chain (lights, hardware, floor coverings, for example). We have been in constant communication with our suppliers and vendors regarding enough supplies and/or alternatives. In the case that a product becomes unavailable we will take one of the following steps:

  • Contact you and arrange for an alternative selection of an equal or better product. This could apply to items such as countertops, flooring, hardware, lights, appliances, and so on.
  • Install a temporary product that will be replaced at a future date. This could apply to lights, appliances, and so on.

We have made efforts to secure your initial selections (if you have finalized them) and will do everything we can to ensure you get your original choices. In the event we need to reselect we ask for your understanding under these extraordinary circumstances.

Construction Delays
The Coronavirus situation will continue to evolve, and circumstances could change rapidly. However, for now we are moving forward with all construction as planned. Most of our field staff and trades work in small groups based on the stage of the home so we do not anticipate major changes to our schedules. We will keep you informed of unavoidable changes, if any, as this unfolds.

It is our intent and preference to continue operating in a business as usual environment, unless the CDC and/or local and state public health agencies instruct us to do otherwise. We will remain diligent in our approach to stay on top of any workforce or labor concerns and/or possible supply chain management disruptions that could arise. We ask for your grace and understanding while we all go through this unfortunate period together.
